Terms of Use
Effective Date: May 13, 2026
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AirVis Studio, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms form an agreement between you and Rockland Technologies for your use of AirVis Studio, including updates, documentation, downloads, and related services.
2. Use of AirVis Studio
AirVis Studio is provided for creating, processing, previewing, and managing 3D scene assets, including Gaussian Splat scenes. You are responsible for providing compatible input files, maintaining backups, and reviewing generated outputs before relying on them.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, models, splats, project files, and other content you import into or create with AirVis Studio.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to process, store, export, and use any content you provide to the app.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use AirVis Studio to violate laws, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, create or distribute malicious content, bypass security features, or process content you do not have the right to use.
5. Third-Party Tools and Services
AirVis Studio may interoperate with third-party tools, frameworks, websites, download services, or user-installed command-line tools. Those third parties may have their own terms, licenses, and privacy practices.
If you install or use external tools such as COLMAP, Homebrew, or other dependencies, you are responsible for reviewing and following their applicable terms and licenses.
6. Updates
AirVis Studio may check for and offer software updates. Updates may change, add, or remove features, and continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated app experience.
7. Availability and Results
Reconstruction, processing, preview, and export results depend on your hardware, input media, system configuration, third-party tools, and app settings. We do not guarantee that every file, capture, or workflow will produce a usable result.
8. Intellectual Property
AirVis Studio, including its design, software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Rockland Technologies or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of AirVis Studio to you.
9. Disclaimer
AirVis Studio is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rockland Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or workflow interruption arising from your use of AirVis Studio.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of AirVis Studio after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
